Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LoreTag ("we") collects when you use loretag.com and what we do with it. Questions go to support@loretag.com.

Using the free tools

You do not need an account. Names you generate or type into the checker are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. Names you save with the Save button are stored in your browser's local storage on your device only; clearing your browser data removes them.

Buying a name pack

When you buy a pack we store your email address, your order number, the pack you bought and the options you chose (race and tone), so we can deliver the pack, resend it and handle refunds. Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; Stripe's own privacy policy covers the payment data it handles. We send you the delivery email and replies to your support requests, and nothing else unless you ask.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com), and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Third-party vendors may also use cookies; you can opt out of many of them at aboutads.info.

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views. Our own site sets only the cookies needed to run it, such as remembering a consent choice.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep order records for as long as we need them for delivery, refunds, tax and accounting. To ask for a copy of your data or for its deletion where the law allows, email us from the address you used to order.

Children

LoreTag is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
