Unofficial fan project

LoreTag is an unofficial fan project. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft, WoW Forever, and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

The free tools

The generators and the name checker are provided free and as is. The checker tests names against the published naming rules; it does not and cannot tell you whether a name is available in the game. A name that passes our checks can still be taken by another player or refused by Blizzard, and we are not responsible for names you choose.

Name packs

Name packs are one-time digital purchases. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page and charged once at checkout; there is no subscription. After payment you can download your pack straight away and we email you a copy. You may use the names in your packs for your own characters, guilds and creative projects.

Refunds

If you were charged more than once for the same order, or your pack was not delivered and we cannot deliver it, we refund the payment in full. Email us with your order number within 30 days. Because packs are delivered instantly as digital content, we do not otherwise refund a delivered pack, except where the law requires it. This does not affect any rights you have under the law where you live. The full details are in our refund policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use automated tools to scrape the site at a rate that harms it, attempt to break its security, or resell the generator output as a name list of your own.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any paid order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Orders are governed by the terms in force when you placed them.
